Resurrection Guaranteed

Resurrection Sunday means that Jesus is the first to return from death to tell of immortality and the afterlife. Adam disobeyed God and brought both spiritual and physical death to humanity. Yet through His resurrection, Jesus, the last Adam, has made eternal life available to all. 

As a sign of His death and resurrection, Jesus himself referred to the story of Jonah and the great fish (Matthew 12:39-40). He said that Jonah spent three days and nights in the stomach of the fish, just as the Son of Man spent three days and nights in the earth's heart..This event symbolizes the death and burial of Jesus, as well as his resurrection on the third day. Just as Jonah was delivered from the fish, Jesus was delivered from death. Yet, Jesus deliverance enable all who believe the same resurrection and eternal life. What do you believe?

But He answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
