The Altar, a Sign of Hope

Lesson Text: Ezekiel 43:13-21 KJV

The altar in Ezekiel’s vision has symbolic meaning. For instance, its location outside the temple is the focal point for sin atonement.  The altar's precise measurements and detailed design emphasize the precision required to approach God. This underscores the belief that holiness is not arbitrary but follows a divine specification. Remember, the altar's precise measurement, being the exact size and shape of a square, symbolizes the perfection of God.

Thus, the altar is a constant reminder of the need for reverence and the sacredness of the relationship between humanity and the divine. Let’s reverence God daily through faith in Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
